Jan was awesome. Very helpful. And helped me make my decision on joining this club. Great customer service....I can't wait to meet her in person. She's Special and needs to lead a class in customer service...great interaction.
If you're a Sports lover, look no further than Sunset Athletic Club. The sport courts are excellent, and they even have professional coaches available for lessons. The club also hosts exciting tournaments in friendly environment. I have met some amazing players here and have seen a significant improvement in my game.
I like SAC because it's never super packed with people. No trouble getting time on the equipment I want. Lots of various activities to do. My family enjoys it here. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
I need to be clear my experience is as a NON-MEMBER. A friend told me about their summer camps for kids and I enrolled because; why not? My friend's kids go there and it's close to my home. I have to tell you, I could not be more impressed with Hayley Lodhie, the kids program director. She has been so welcoming, responsive, and amazing with my kids. My kids are loving the summer camp and I am so glad to have found this resource. We will do these camps again (the price for the camps is also absolutely fabulous!). A big shout out to Hayley: YOU DO GREAT WORK!
Superb yoga classes. I have attended Gretchen's yoga classes weekly for over three years and not a single class was the same. Her classes are original, thorough, well-designed, strengthening, rejuvenating, and fulfilling. I always feel challenged and I always feel grateful at the end. Grateful that I made it through it, grateful I can still do this at my age, and grateful for Gretchen's dedication to deliver week after week. At the end of the class we enjoy how our body feels after the treat we just received, and listen to nurturing music that no doubt was purposefully chosen to deepen the experience.
This place is a joke, I would give them negative stars if I could. I got injured and they would not consider my phone notice as 'due process' and only considered my '25 day late' form submission as notice and not process my leave of absence request. I was told "If they engage every leave of absence request from folks who pay for membership and not come in, they would be out of business!" Wow so they accept they run a business with intent of making money by NOT providing for services that they claim to. I was ready to even give a medical certificate from my doctor but no, none of it mattered. I was the fool who was asking them to be "unfair" for their 'made up' rules.
This athletic club is not designed for me. First it's in the suburbs - I'm an urban girl and I choose to walk, practice yoga, and local hiking. It's overpriced and I feel like management should heed the reviews here and make some changes with cleanliness and the monthly fee.
